{"id":105,"date":"2024-07-24T20:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-07-24T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/it4see.nung.edu.ua\/?p=105"},"modified":"2026-05-26T23:39:53","modified_gmt":"2026-05-26T20:39:53","slug":"rozvyvaiemo-spivpratsiu-z-brytanskym-partnerom","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/it4see.nung.edu.ua\/en\/rozvyvaiemo-spivpratsiu-z-brytanskym-partnerom\/","title":{"rendered":"Developing cooperation with a British partner"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>During the second annual conference of the &#8220;Twinning&#8221; initiative on cooperation between universities in Ukraine and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, held in Warsaw, the Vice-Rector of Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas <a href=\"https:\/\/nung.edu.ua\/person\/kondrat-oleksandr-romanovich\"><strong>Oleksandr Kondrat<\/strong><\/a> and the coordinator of the double degree program &#8220;Information Technologies for Sustainable Energy Engineering&#8221;  associate professor Marian Slabinoha attended a reception at the Embassy of the United Kingdom in the Republic of Poland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to the work of the conference organizers, representatives of IFNTUOG were given the opportunity for the first time in over two years of the war (and <a href=\"https:\/\/nung.edu.ua\/news\/khvylyu-vpiymay\">at the same time of collaboration with a British partner<\/a>, London South Bank University) to meet with a representative of this university in person. Professor <strong>Ravindran Sundararajan<\/strong>, representative of the Engineering School of LSBU expressed their support and readiness to contribute to the restoration of the university after the recent missile attack by the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the opening remarks by representatives of the British diplomatic mission in Ukraine and Poland, and a presentation by the head of the consulting agency &#8220;CCG,&#8221; Charles Cormack, the conversation turned informal and focused on current cooperation (research grants, joint degree programs), as well as the vision for future projects. During the discussion, a number of ideas emerged regarding collaborative research and educational programs for further implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Friends are known in trouble&#8221; and &#8220;A friend in need is a friend indeed&#8221; &#8211; two proverbs in different languages that speak about common values.
