The double degree program “Information Technologies for Sustainable Energy Development” of the Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas has made it to the top nine finalists of the House of Europe Award – an initiative of the European Union that opens up opportunities for professional and creative exchange for Ukrainians. The project is nominated for “Best International Educational Collaboration” and is being implemented in partnership with London South Bank University (United Kingdom) as part of the Twinning Ukraine initiative founded by Cormack Consultancy Group.<\/p>
This is a modern master’s program at the intersection of IT and sustainable energy, created in response to the challenges of the energy crisis in Ukraine. The instruction is entirely in English, includes practical training, and leads to the attainment of degrees from two universities simultaneously. The program is internationally accredited, and its first graduates in 2025 are already successfully employed in leading IT and energy companies.<\/p>
Recently, another important event took place – the second graduation of students from this international master’s program. The engineering community has been enriched with professionals who possess modern digital tools for the restoration and sustainable development of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.<\/p>
