Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUOG) has successfully undergone validation of Joint Master’s Programme with Double Degree<\/a> with the British university London South Bank University (LSBU) to comply with the conditions of British higher education! Starting this September, students from our university will begin their studies and, upon successful completion of the course, will receive both Ukrainian and British diplomas!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, a validation meeting of the British university LSBU was held, with the following members: Dr. Jenny Owen, Deputy Dean of the School of Arts and Creative Industries at London South Bank University; Dr. Draco Iyi, Associate Professor in the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering and Renewable Energy at Coventry University; Mr. Mike Waveris, Senior Lecturer in Product Design, Eco-design, and Innovation at the University of Derby; Mr. Kalpesh Khetiya, Senior Quality and Quality Improvement Advisor in Higher Education at London South Bank University.<\/p>\n\n\n

The aim of the meeting of the British commission is to verify compliance with the conditions of British higher education and confirm the joint educational program Information technology for sustainable energy <\/a>engineering for dual degrees of IFNTUNG and LSBU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Having analyzed the relevant documentation related to the educational program profile, course syllabi, and so on, the members of the commission accredited the educational program on behalf of LSBU. “Master of Science in Information Technologies for Sustainable Energy Engineering at Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas, Ukraine. (MSc ITSEE (IFNTUOG))”<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The professional committee has confirmed that the academic standards of the program have been developed in such a way as to meet the Higher Education Qualifications Framework and reflect any relevant industry-recognized standards. The teaching and learning experience for students should comply with the internal requirements of LSBU. Therefore, the course has been approved for enrollment in the autumn semester of 2023, and starting from September, IFNTUNG students will begin studying in the joint master’s program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, on June 21st, the head of the project Marian Slabinoha conducted a joint online meeting with the representative of the LSBU Global department, Ashish Jaiswal, regarding the further steps in the program development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
