The “Energy Control and Audit” module is one of the fundamental disciplines of first semester in master’s program in IT4SEE. This course establishes the foundation of “energy context” learning, combining traditional engineering approaches with innovative digital tools for assessing and optimizing energy consumption.

The aim and content of the module
The goal of the module is to prepare professionals capable of conducting a comprehensive analysis of energy efficiency of objects and implementing intelligent resource accounting systems. Students study methodologies of energy audits, principles of operation of modern metering devices, and software for real-time energy consumption monitoring. The training is conducted by experienced practitioners, including certified energy audit experts

- Conduct a professional energy audit: Assessing the energy consumption status of industrial facilities and infrastructure to identify potential savings.
- Implement energy management systems: developing and operating automated energy control and metering systems (AECMS).

- To apply technical regulation methods: to take into account the requirements of standardization and certification in the field of sustainable energy development.
