On November 29, 2023, in Kyiv, the Cormack Consultancy Group together with The Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine held a round table discussion “Twinning Initiative: Results of launching educational programs with double degrees with universities in the United Kingdom.”
Six universities, including Ivano-Frankivsk National University of Oil and Gas, have presented their first achievements towards launching dual degree programs under the Twinning initiative, with the first intake of students taking place in the fall of 2023. University representatives have shared the challenges facing project participants and the prospects for ensuring the sustainability of educational programs.
IFNTUOG and the work of the university team on launching the double degree program “Information Technologies for Sustainable Energy Engineering” were presented by an associate professor Marian Slabinoha.
Representatives of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine and the President’s Fund of Ukraine highly appreciated the efforts of the project participants and expressed their support and readiness to respond to the challenges that the process of establishing cooperation with the higher education systems of European countries will present to Ukrainian higher education.
