Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas added another achievement to my list: the Master’s program “Informational Technologies for Sustainable Energy Engineering” has received international accreditation from the ZEvA agency, one of the most experienced and versatile agencies in Germany with 27 years of experience in accrediting programs, systematic accreditation, evaluation, and certification in the higher education sector under the dual degree program.
Obtaining international accreditation is an important step for the university, confirming the quality of education and compliance with international standards. This demonstrates a high level of preparation for both teachers and students, and enhances the prestige of IFNTUNG on both national and international levels.
Previously, the educational program was successfully validated by London South Bank University (LSBU), which is ranked in the top 100 universities in the UK and top 1000 universities in the world. Students enrolled in this program have access to LSBU resources: they can use the university library, participate in university events (such as the annual summer camp held in London). The program is based on software engineering department, who has brought together a cohort of highly qualified employees, whose experience and knowledge have become the cornerstone of its high quality. In addition, the best employees from other departments are involved in teaching the disciplines of the program. The guarantor of this program is the professor of the software engineering department, doctor of technical sciences Ihor Liutak.
Accreditation opens up unique opportunities for students: they have the chance to receive two diplomas – an internationally recognized Ukrainian diploma and a diploma from a London university. This significantly enhances their chances of a successful career both in Ukraine and abroad, giving them access to a wider range of professional opportunities and global job markets.
