Yesterday we received the distribution of state-funded places, and this year our double degree program “Information Technologies for Sustainable Energy Development” is ready to accept 7 applicants on state funds. The applicants who applied for state-funded places took the entrance exams two weeks ago and are now submitting applications to become students of this unique program.
Currently, we are working with companies that could potentially become employers offering scholarships to cover the tuition costs for the best contract students (and our competitive scores are traditionally high).
The second wave of entrance exams for bachelor’s graduates on a contract basis is now starting. The exam will take place on August 19 at 10:00 within the walls. Registration for the exam is through the applicant’s electronic account by August 18 at 18:00. Among practical matters – we offer a very democratic tuition fee – 39,000 per year of study (58,500 for the entire one and a half year master’s program). If you did not qualify for a state-funded spot in other educational programs, opting for a contract on this one would not only be reasonable but also an economically sound decision.

From less grounded things:
– degrees from two universities – Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas and London South Bank University (one of the first six and 10 in total such programs in Ukraine, the only one in Ivano-Frankivsk region);
– Learning English language, however, with a Ukrainian-speaking community of program instructors;
– a unique set of disciplines that allows you to both acquire expertise in the field of IT and understand the context of sustainable development and the energy sector;
– a team of professional instructors, each of whom is not only a teacher but also an expert in the field. A frontend or backend course from developers with over 10 years of experience in the industry? An energy audit course from a certified expert? We have it all;
– The program is multidisciplinary – during this time, we had bachelor students in software engineering, oil and gas engineering, computer engineering, metrology, philology, and none of them felt like an outsider – the program structure allows for easy integration and provides time for onboarding.
– The program is accredited by the German agency ZEvA until 2031 – the first and only one in Ivano-Frankivsk region so far.
Update for this year:
– Graduates of the first program received diplomas from two universities at the hands of the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Mykhailo Vynnytsky and the Rector of IFNTUNG Ihor Chudyk.
– The students of the program visited a summer school in London and had a lot of positive experiences.
– The students of the program participated in the online competition IVI Innovation Challenge, organized by the Institute of Innovative Values (Maynooth, Ireland), where they won a prize.
– The tuition fee payment for the 30 students enrolling at London South Bank University this year is once again covered by a grant.
– Documents are being prepared for the visa application by some of the graduates attending the graduation ceremony taking place in London this autumn.

This year, the double degree Master’s program “Information Technologies for Sustainable Energy Development” offers education in two streams: state-funded and contract-based.
Education on a budgetary basis
The program has 7 budget places. Applicants who have already passed the entrance exams can apply for admission to the state-funded place.
Contract-based learning
